When my life would be full of struggles

The mind would be occupied by low feelings

Series of negative thoughts would tend to degrade me

Fingers on my capabilities would be raised

I’ll choose to accept the low phase

I’ll make my journey through struggles beautiful

I’ll love myself even more

The day I would lose someone I truly loved

The heartache would shake me from within

Every thought would take me back to the agony of loss

Memories would constantly flash in front of my eyes

I’ll make those memories my constant companion

I’ll be grateful for those beautiful moments

I’ll love myself even more

When a void of mine will become a subject of mockery

I would retaliate every time it gets highlighted

That void would become a barrier to my happiness

I could start looking at myself with hateful eyes

But I’ll choose to embrace myself the way I am

I’ll be proud of my identity and existence

I’ll love myself even more

When I would be surrounded by nothing but loneliness

I would feel upset, hopeless and helpless

The way forward would be full of darkness

I would have so much to say but I won’t be able to

So I’ll hear myself and follow my heart
